When teaching a 500-year old play like "Macbeth," Mineola High teachers Al Cavalluzzo and Cynthia Lombardi both want to help their students learn to decode Shakespeare’s language, wrestle with his complicated themes and characters, and ask big questions of themselves and the world around them. But while Cavalluzzo uses a range of classroom technology, Lombardi says she’s old-school: “My resources are a notebook, a pen and a pencil, and a brain.”
